About Precision Federal
Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. How this role works
- You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
- A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
- You work remote, paid from the contract. ~120–600 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.
What you'll do
- Maintain and review parcel data in ArcGIS Pro: splits, combinations, boundary adjustments and new subdivisions
- Enter legal descriptions with COGO and check them against deeds, plats and surveys
- Keep parcel geometry and CAMA records in step so parcel IDs, ownership and acreage agree
- Review our geodatabase designs, editing workflows and QA rules, and tell us where they break on real county data
- Connect parcel data to Cityworks assets and work orders
Required qualifications
- Senior GIS analyst experience, including hands-on parcel maintenance and cadastral mapping
- Working knowledge of ArcGIS Pro, enterprise geodatabases and COGO entry of legal descriptions
- Experience with a CAMA system and with keeping parcel maps and assessment records in agreement
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
- Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment
Preferred qualifications
- ArcGIS Parcel Fabric in ArcGIS Pro, or a migration from the ArcMap parcel fabric
- Cityworks or another asset and work management system built on GIS
- County assessor, recorder, auditor or land records office experience
- GISP certification or a land surveying background
