HEDIS Measure Production Lead

Lead HEDIS rate production with our NCQA-certified measure partner, from raw claims and encounters through audited, final rates.

About Precision Federal

Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. The company’s founder loves God, and the company is built on Christian faith: every number we publish is real, every claim we make is verifiable, and the work is done with excellence as service to God. Faith is welcome here and openly shared.

How this role works

  1. You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
  2. A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
  3. You work remote, paid from the contract. ~80–480 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.

What you'll do

  • Run and check HEDIS production end to end, from claims, encounter, pharmacy, lab and supplemental data through certified measure software to final rates
  • Line up our data pipelines with the certified measure engine and the current NCQA technical specifications for each measurement year
  • Catch denominator, exclusion, continuous-enrollment and value set problems before rates go out
  • Support the HEDIS Compliance Audit, including the Roadmap, primary source verification and auditor questions
  • Tell us plainly where a measure, a data source or a timeline will not hold up

Required qualifications

  • Hands-on HEDIS production experience for a health plan, state Medicaid program or HEDIS vendor, through at least one full measurement year and compliance audit
  • Working knowledge of NCQA HEDIS technical specifications, value sets, administrative and hybrid methods, and NCQA-certified measure software
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
  • Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment

Preferred qualifications

  • Medicaid, CHIP or Medicare Advantage quality reporting, including state quality strategies or CMS Core Set measures
  • Certified HEDIS Compliance Auditor (CHCA) credential or experience on the audit side
  • ECDS digital measures, supplemental data programs or FHIR-based quality reporting
  • SQL, SAS or Python for data validation and rate reconciliation

Compensation & structure

1099 consulting engagement. $60–$125 per hour; we set your rate from your résumé and experience. Hours are funded by federal contract awards — this seat is scoped at roughly 80–480 hours per funded award, fully remote. Work and pay begin only if the contract is awarded — no award, no hours, no obligation.

Join the bench — HEDIS Measure Production Lead

Every application is read. It takes about 5 minutes.

  • This is a bench, not a job offer. Work starts when we win a contract that needs you.
  • We may name you on proposals. If that contract is awarded, you do the role at the rate and hours we agree on.
  • Paid hourly as a 1099 contractor; full-time roles may be W-2. If your background fits, we will email you.
