How this role works

You join the bench. You apply with your hourly rate, weekly hours and start time, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
You work remote, paid from the contract. ~40–80 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.

What you'll do

Review imagery-analysis and ATR approaches against real analyst workflows
Advise on tasking, collection, and exploitation practice across government and commercial sources
Sanity-check sensor assumptions, resolution requirements, and confidence standards
Keep our terminology native to the GEOINT community
Join occasional government calls and technical reviews for funded efforts

Required qualifications

12+ years in geospatial intelligence or EO/IR imagery — GEOINT analyst, imagery officer, sensor operator, or exploitation-systems engineer
Fluency in how imagery is tasked and exploited in practice
U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
Open to being named as a consultant on federal proposals

Preferred qualifications

Commercial-constellation tasking experience (Maxar/Planet-class)
Automated target recognition or computer-vision program exposure
Prior security clearance

Compensation & structure

1099 consulting engagement. $50–$80 per hour; you tell us the rate you are asking when you apply. Hours are funded by federal contract awards — roughly 40–80 hours across a 6–12 month period of performance per funded award, fully remote. No award, no hours, no obligation.
