About Precision Federal

How this role works
- You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
- A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
- You work remote, paid from the contract. ~80–480 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.
What you'll do
- Support installation at the first site in Los Angeles: unpack, mount, cable, configure and check that hardware and software come up as designed
- Work with site staff and our remote engineers to troubleshoot problems on the spot and write down what happened and how it was fixed
- Deliver hands-on training to operators, technicians and supervisors, in classrooms and at the equipment
- Tell us where our install guides, checklists and training materials don't match what actually happens on site
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience installing, commissioning or supporting technical systems at customer or field sites
- Experience delivering training to frontline staff, operators or technicians
- Based in or able to reliably reach work sites in the Los Angeles area
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
- Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience at public-sector, transportation, utility or other large operational sites
- Comfort with networking, sensors, edge devices or industrial and embedded hardware
- Familiarity with site safety practices; OSHA 10 or 30 or similar safety training
- Valid driver's license and the ability to lift equipment and work in field conditions
