About Precision Federal
Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. How this role works
- You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
- A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
- You work remote, paid from the contract. ~80–500 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.
What you'll do
- Serve as the licensed broker and day-to-day account lead for a public-sector employee benefits program
- Run and staff in-person open enrollment and benefits fair events at employer sites in Georgia
- Review plan designs, renewals, carrier proposals and contribution strategies, and explain the tradeoffs in plain terms
- Resolve employee and administrator questions on eligibility, enrollment, claims and carrier service issues
- Check our benefits data, enrollment files and employee materials against how the plans actually work
Required qualifications
- Active Georgia insurance license with life, accident and sickness lines of authority, in good standing
- Experience managing or servicing employee benefits accounts for public-sector employers such as state agencies, counties, cities or school districts
- Ability to attend in-person enrollment events across Georgia on scheduled dates
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
- Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with self-funded plans, voluntary benefits, retiree coverage or ACA reporting
- Benefits administration platforms such as Employee Navigator, bswift, Benefitfocus or similar
- Professional designation such as CEBS, GBA, REBC or RHU
