About Precision Federal
Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. The company’s founder loves God, and the company is built on Christian faith: every number we publish is real, every claim we make is verifiable, and the work is done with excellence as service to God. Faith is welcome here and openly shared.
How this role works
- You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
- A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
- You work remote, paid from the contract. ~120–600 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.
What you'll do
- Own the solution architecture for our digital twin work, from field devices and controllers through the integration layer to the twin itself
- Design how BACnet and OPC UA data is discovered, normalized, secured and moved from the OT network into IT systems without disrupting operations
- Integrate Allen-Bradley and Schneider EcoStruxure controls and data into a single, consistent model of the facility
- Tie live operational data to GIS and BIM so assets, spaces and systems line up with where they really are
- Tell us where an approach breaks on real controllers, real networks or real point naming, and check our claims before they reach the Government
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience architecting or leading OT/IT integration, building automation, SCADA or industrial controls data work in a delivery role
- Working knowledge of BACnet and OPC UA, including device discovery, point mapping and data modeling
- Direct experience with Allen-Bradley (Rockwell) and Schneider EcoStruxure platforms
- Experience integrating operational data with GIS or BIM models
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
- Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment
Preferred qualifications
- Digital twin platforms such as Azure Digital Twins, AWS IoT TwinMaker, Bentley iTwin, NVIDIA Omniverse or comparable
- Semantic models such as Brick Schema, Project Haystack or ASHRAE 223P
- Esri ArcGIS, Autodesk Revit, IFC or COBie
- ISA/IEC 62443 or NIST SP 800-82 experience securing OT networks
- Federal, DoD installation or public-sector facility experience
