Operations Manager, Curbside and Parking Program

Run a city curbside and parking program day to day, in person in New Orleans, LA: citations, payments, meters, boots and tows, and the people who keep them moving. Full-time W-2 role, contingent on award.

About Precision Federal

Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. The company’s founder loves God, and the company is built on Christian faith: every number we publish is real, every claim we make is verifiable, and the work is done with excellence as service to God. Faith is welcome here and openly shared.

How this role works

  1. You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
  2. A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
  3. You work remote, paid from the contract. ~1,800–2,080 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.

What you'll do

  • Be the City's local point of contact for the whole program, in person every working day
  • Work side by side with City enforcement officers, booting crews and customer-service staff, and with our meter and field partners
  • Run the daily numbers on citations, payments, meter uptime, boot releases and call-center service levels, and fix what is off
  • Lead the cutover from today's vendors with our software team, and help train City staff on the new tools

Required qualifications

  • Experience managing parking, transit, public works or municipal field operations, or supervising field crews or contracted service teams against service levels
  • Live in or near New Orleans, LA and able to work in person, full time
  • Willing to be named, with your résumé, in our proposal
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
  • Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience working directly with city or public agencies, and with residents face to face
  • Comfort with dashboards, spreadsheets, and ticketing or citation systems
  • Experience moving an operation from one vendor or system to another

  • This is a bench, not a job offer. Work starts when we win a contract that needs you.
  • We may name you on proposals. If that contract is awarded, you do the role at the rate and hours we agree on.
  • Paid hourly as a 1099 contractor; full-time roles may be W-2. If your background fits, we will email you.
