Certified Mind-Body Interventionist

Deliver a mind-body practice to study participants the way the protocol describes it, session after session, so the research measures the real thing.

About Precision Federal

Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. The company’s founder loves God, and the company is built on Christian faith: every number we publish is real, every claim we make is verifiable, and the work is done with excellence as service to God. Faith is welcome here and openly shared.

How this role works

  1. You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
  2. A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
  3. You work remote, paid from the contract. ~100–500 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.

What you'll do

  • Lead sessions in your certified modality, in person or by video, following a written intervention protocol
  • Help us shape the protocol so it stays true to the practice and works for the people enrolled
  • Keep session logs, attendance records and fidelity checklists so anyone can verify how sessions were delivered
  • Adapt postures, pacing or practices safely for participants with health limits, and tell us about any concern right away

Required qualifications

  • Current certification in a recognized mind-body modality, such as yoga (RYT-200 or higher), MBSR or other mindfulness teacher training, tai chi, qigong, or a comparable credential
  • Regular experience teaching or guiding groups or individuals in that modality
  • Available part-time for scheduled sessions over the life of the award
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
  • Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience delivering a manualized intervention in a research study, clinical trial or health system program
  • Work with veterans, older adults, people with chronic pain or other clinical populations
  • Advanced credentials such as C-IAYT yoga therapist or certified MBSR teacher, or human subjects research training such as CITI

Compensation & structure

1099 consulting engagement. $20–$40 per hour; we set your rate from your résumé and experience. Hours are funded by federal contract awards — this seat is scoped at roughly 100–500 hours per funded award, fully remote. Work and pay begin only if the contract is awarded — no award, no hours, no obligation.

Every application is read. It takes about 5 minutes.

  • This is a bench, not a job offer. Work starts when we win a contract that needs you.
  • We may name you on proposals. If that contract is awarded, you do the role at the rate and hours we agree on.
  • Paid hourly as a 1099 contractor; full-time roles may be W-2. If your background fits, we will email you.
