How this role works
- You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
- A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
- You work remote, paid from the contract. ~400–940 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.
What you'll do
- Produce the weekly bulletin and keep the monthly calendar of Masses, classes and events current
- Handle parish registration and keep sacramental records accurate, complete and confidential
- Prepare for Mass: set out the Lectionary and Roman Missal and care for the sacred vessels
- Support catechists, families and clergy so religious education classes and sacramental preparation run smoothly
- Work about 18 hours a week on site, including evenings and weekends when classes and liturgies happen

- Able to pass a Tier 1 background check, including a State Criminal History Repository check, and complete child protection training
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher or similar)
- Available about 18 hours a week, including evenings and weekends, and living in or near Fayetteville, NC
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
