About Precision Federal
Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. The company’s founder loves God, and the company is built on Christian faith: every number we publish is real, every claim we make is verifiable, and the work is done with excellence as service to God. Faith is welcome here and openly shared.
How this role works
- You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
- A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
- You work remote, paid from the contract. ~200–1000 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.
What you'll do
- Plan and run CAD and RMS implementations end to end, from requirements and configuration through cutover and go-live
- Work with dispatchers, records staff, officers and IT to build call types, unit recommendations, response plans and workflows that match how the agency actually operates
- Keep the build inside CJIS Security Policy requirements and make sure the RMS produces clean, accepted NIBRS submissions
- Lead go-live readiness, command-center support and post-go-live stabilization so dispatch never loses a step
- Help shape fire and EMS RMS work, including NERIS reporting, as those projects come in
Required qualifications
- Hands-on lead or senior role on at least one public-safety CAD or RMS implementation that went live
- Direct, working knowledge of the CJIS Security Policy and NIBRS reporting requirements
- Experience supporting a live dispatch go-live or cutover, including the go-live night
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
- Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with major CAD/RMS platforms such as Hexagon, Motorola, Tyler, CentralSquare, Mark43 or comparable systems
- Fire and EMS RMS experience, including NFIRS or NERIS reporting
- Background as a dispatcher, records supervisor, sworn officer or public-safety IT manager
- PMP, APCO, NENA or CJIS-related certifications
- Ability to pass a CJIS fingerprint-based background check and travel for go-live support
