Bilingual Model Operations Engineer (Spanish)

Keep our deployed models running, observable and trustworthy on Kubernetes, and work directly with Spanish-speaking users and teams when the models meet the real world.

About Precision Federal

Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. The company’s founder loves God, and the company is built on Christian faith: every number we publish is real, every claim we make is verifiable, and the work is done with excellence as service to God. Faith is welcome here and openly shared.

How this role works

  1. You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
  2. A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
  3. You work remote, paid from the contract. ~120–600 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.

What you'll do

  • Deploy, scale and update models on Kubernetes clusters with repeatable pipelines and clear rollback paths
  • Build the monitoring that tells us when a model drifts, slows down or starts giving worse answers
  • Work in Spanish with users, stakeholders and partner teams to understand how the models are used and where they fall short
  • Review Spanish-language data, prompts, outputs and documentation for accuracy before they reach the Government
  • Write runbooks and handoff notes that the next engineer can actually follow

Required qualifications

  • 4 or more years of hands-on model operations, MLOps or ML platform experience in production
  • Current CKA (Certified Kubernetes Administrator) or CKAD (Certified Kubernetes Application Developer) certification
  • Professional proficiency in spoken and written Spanish
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
  • Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience serving models with KServe, Seldon, Triton, BentoML, Ray Serve or comparable tools
  • MLflow, Kubeflow, Argo, Prometheus, Grafana or similar pipeline and observability stacks
  • Experience evaluating or operating Spanish-language or multilingual models
  • Federal, state or public-sector delivery experience

Compensation & structure

1099 consulting engagement. $25–$60 per hour; we set your rate from your résumé and experience. Hours are funded by federal contract awards — this seat is scoped at roughly 120–600 hours per funded award, fully remote. Work and pay begin only if the contract is awarded — no award, no hours, no obligation.

Join the bench — Bilingual Model Operations Engineer (Spanish)

Every application is read. It takes about 5 minutes.

  • This is a bench, not a job offer. Work starts when we win a contract that needs you.
  • We may name you on proposals. If that contract is awarded, you do the role at the rate and hours we agree on.
  • Paid hourly as a 1099 contractor; full-time roles may be W-2. If your background fits, we will email you.
