Automated Speed Enforcement Program Manager

Run a town's automated speed enforcement program day to day and be the one person residents, police, the court and the camera vendor know to call.

About Precision Federal

Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. The company’s founder loves God, and the company is built on Christian faith: every number we publish is real, every claim we make is verifiable, and the work is done with excellence as service to God. Faith is welcome here and openly shared.

How this role works

  1. You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
  2. A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
  3. You work remote, paid from the contract. ~200–800 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.

What you'll do

  • Manage the program day to day: site selection, camera deployment, warning periods, citation review and vendor performance
  • Serve as the town's point of contact for residents, police, the court, council and the camera vendor
  • Track violations, payments, appeals and revenue, and report results against the town's speed and safety goals
  • Keep the program in line with state enabling law, signage and public notice rules, and data retention requirements

Required qualifications

  • Experience managing or administering an automated traffic enforcement program, speed or red-light cameras, for a municipality, county, state or vendor
  • Working knowledge of citation processing, hearing or adjudication workflows, and public notice requirements
  • Comfortable as the public face of a program, from council briefings to resident complaints and press questions
  • U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
  • Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment

Preferred qualifications

  • Police, traffic engineering or municipal court background
  • Verra Mobility, Redflex, Sensys Gatso, Blue Line Solutions or comparable vendor platforms
  • Speed studies, before-and-after analysis, or school zone and work zone safety programs
  • PMP or comparable project management certification

Compensation & structure

1099 consulting engagement. $30–$75 per hour; we set your rate from your résumé and experience. Hours are funded by federal contract awards — this seat is scoped at roughly 200–800 hours per funded award, fully remote. Work and pay begin only if the contract is awarded — no award, no hours, no obligation.

Join the bench — Automated Speed Enforcement Program Manager

Every application is read. It takes about 5 minutes.

  • This is a bench, not a job offer. Work starts when we win a contract that needs you.
  • We may name you on proposals. If that contract is awarded, you do the role at the rate and hours we agree on.
  • Paid hourly as a 1099 contractor; full-time roles may be W-2. If your background fits, we will email you.
