About Precision Federal
Precision Federal is a small business building AI, data and software systems for government agencies. The company’s founder loves God, and the company is built on Christian faith: every number we publish is real, every claim we make is verifiable, and the work is done with excellence as service to God. Faith is welcome here and openly shared.
How this role works
- You join the bench. You apply with your weekly hours and start time. We set your hourly rate from your résumé, and we may name you on proposals that match this role. If we don't win, you owe nothing.
- A contract is awarded. The award funds the team named in the proposal. Your engagement begins at the hourly rate we agreed on.
- You work remote, paid from the contract. ~80–480 hrs per funded award — and if no award ever funds, you owe nothing and lose nothing.
What you'll do
- Review our AI systems, documentation and governance approach against the standards and frameworks a government counterpart will hold us to
- Map digital-government norms on interoperability, open data, digital identity, privacy and service design to concrete requirements we can build and test against
- Draft, review and adapt technical and policy material in Spanish so it reads naturally to officials and practitioners, not like a translation
- Tell us where a standard is settled, where it is still moving, and which authoritative source we should cite
- Join working sessions with Spanish-speaking stakeholders and help us understand what they need and why
Required qualifications
- Direct experience applying AI standards, AI governance frameworks or digital-government norms in a policy, advisory, delivery or assessment role
- Working knowledge of frameworks such as the NIST AI RMF, ISO/IEC 42001, ISO/IEC 23894, the OECD AI Principles, the UNESCO Recommendation on the Ethics of AI, the EU AI Act or national digital-government strategies
- Professional working proficiency in Spanish, written and spoken, including technical and policy vocabulary
- U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident (U.S. person)
- Willing to be named on a federal proposal with a one-page resume, and to sign a short letter of commitment
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Latin American or Ibero-American digital-government agendas, charters or national AI strategies
- Work with ministries, digital agencies, multilateral development organizations or standards bodies
- Background in interoperability frameworks, open data, digital public infrastructure or digital identity
- Certified translator or interpreter credential, or formal training in Spanish technical writing
